Join us once again on the Lincoln National Forest for a metal-detecting hike into the past! This project will be a follow-up on the work we did in 2018 (article on PIT website at: http://www.passportintime.com/nm-metal-detecting.html). This season we will finish the metal detection of the north half of the site, and begin excavation on trash pits that were discovered in the groungs of the Baca Ranger Station - an area next to the Depression-eta, Baca Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) Camp - that was added last year, and yielded a great many artifacts. We hope you'll come on out once more as we explore this fascinating area!
